Our Canden Bolga Basket is handwoven from natural elephant grass which grows from surrounding water holes in the Sahel region of West Africa. It is harvested by the Fra Fra people of Northern Ghana, soaked and stretched to produce a fine, supple, and extra strong fibre. Supporting these items helps preserve the traditional craft of weaving.
